The Trewern Arms near Newport is a picturesque bed and breakfast based in a rural 16th century Inn with nine ensuite bedrooms, situated on the banks of the River Nevern in the beautiful village of Nevern.  It is the perfect base to explore the Pembrokeshire National Park, near to Carningli & the beautiful Preseli Mountains, and the breathtaking coastal path.

Whilst the public bar and restaurant are currently closed, the rooms remain as beautiful and peaceful as ever, serviced by a fantastic range of local pubs and restaurants within a 15 minute walk or a short drive. Our lounge remains open for our guests to mingle and relax, with a reasonably priced self-service bottle bar featuring bottled local ales and ciders.

The Trewern Arms is easily accessible by road, rail or sea, being only 9 miles from the main ferry port and railhead of Fishguard to the south, which is itself on the A40, and Cardigan to the north. The village of Nevern is a five minute drive or a 45 minute riverside woodland walk from the fishing town of Newport, in north Pembrokeshire.

There is fantastic fishing on the River Nevern, just across the road from the Hotel and some of the best walks in West Wales around the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park or Preseli Mountains.

For your convenience the Trewern Arms Hotel has free wi-fi throughout.
